No, his reaction might have something to do with the reason why the edit-function was removed some time ago.

You can only edit for 10 minutes after posting.

Its there in case you realise you made a mistake. For exapmle of misuse of the edit facility look back at threads about a year old. Most of CHollman's Posts are empty. CHollman82 is still an active member here, but he uses a different name in order for everyone to forget his horrific crimes. The edit facility is a bad thing if it isn't kept on its ten minute thingy.

How horrific can text based remote crimes get?
Posted by regretfuldaydreamer [send private reply] at September 22, 2002, 04:10:14 PM
Where u around when he did them? I wasn't, but I'm told they caused a shitload of hassle, cause if you edit a message, the thread appeared as unread, and they didn't have catch up buttons in dem days, so Im told, but CodeRed seems dead on now, so I'm sure those who where around at the time forgave him.

First of all, they didn't forgive me, they LACKED THE ABILITY TO BAN ME. Second of all I didn't do it to be a jackass, as I've explaind numberous times, *someone* kept editing my posts to make me look stupid, so I got rid of all of them. And what do you mean I "seem dead right now"?
Posted by gian [send private reply] at September 23, 2002, 06:05:01 AM
CodeRed, we have the ability to ban you. It's just the fact that most of the admins here are very passive people, and a permanent ban seems so heavy handed.

I have the urge to delete your posts all the time, but I don't....

"dead on" - Irish slang for your OK

What about my ok?
Posted by DragonWolf [send private reply] at September 25, 2002, 05:06:59 AM

"CodeRed seems dead on now" == "CodeRed seems OK now"
