Sheells (2)

I am thinking of setting up some shells on my 486 , when i can get it upgraded ( you DONT want a shell on this baby 170mb HD with only 2/4 RAM ( 7024KB + 640kb ~ 8mb ). However god bless eBAY , where i found a good 2*500mb HD , 2 memeory 72pin stick things a linux compatiible high speed intrenet thingy and a cdrom ... so i am thinking on how many people would be intrested in a shell and the purposes they would use it for. When i do get it set up ... hmmm when they get my high speed net set up ... which will be just before Christmas Holidays or just after.

1) Who would be intrested in a free shell and other utils ?
2) What would you use it for ?
3) How much space is good .. 500k , 1mb , 2 mb or more ?
4) What protocols tool ?

Anyone got a screwdriver ?

1) May be interested.

2) Wouldn't it be just as cheap, if not a little more to pick up a decent second hand computer, or are you using a 486 for purposes f historical interest (I used a 386 all summer)

Some of you may remember the LShells idea some time ago. It was pretty cool, but didn't happen in the end for some reason. I think that if you want to do this, then more power to you.
