[Gian's Summary: TPU is useless, bla, bla, bla - Nothing here that can't be found elsewhere blablabla - Nothing "special" about TPU]
(lann deleted his post).

Well, the main thing about TPU you have to realize is that we don't feel a need to be special, and in a sense we already are... for one, try finding an organisation dedicated to _teen_ programmers... you probably won't...

Also [Warm fuzzy moment], it's the people here who actually make TPU special... TPU has been around for a long time by internet standards (Summer of 1996). Many of the ~1400 people here are very skilled programmers, or are striving to learn to program.

We are not aiming to make money from TPU, but just be "Here when you need us", whether that be to ask a question, answer a question, or just be a bit social with like-minded people.

I'd be interested in a summary of what Iann's post contained, just out of curiosity. I've also removed the ability for nonmoderators to edit their messages.

mmm, I think that "judging a book by it's cover" applies some what nicely here.
