I'm sure that the statement "Assembly language was once the only language that existed for programming computers" is somewhat flawed.

Makes me wonder how they wrote the first assembler. If assembly was indeed the first and only language.

The first lanuage had to be written in machine code/hex. Very few, if any, people use that to program these days I'm sure.
