Do you mean converting a MS-dos batch file into an executable?

Your first sentance makes no sense

There isn't a point because both are equally executable. Basically a different file name, unless you care that people can edit the source for your ingenious use of the copy command.
I make no sense.

I don't know of any way of converting a batch file to an executable. Most tasks performed by batch files can be done reasonably simple by, say, a C program. or a Perl program. Or pretty much any other programming langauge, for that matter.

I had a program that coverted .bat files in .com files, but that was at least 2 HDs ago.
I found a simulare one at http://nlsn.free.fr/batch-down/Bat2Exe.ZIP

QBASIC has a shell command which you could use for this and then compile it, but I think that using a bat2exe program would be easier, although I would like to know what you would put in a .bat that you wouldn't want people to see.

it has a play command too, and heck that would just make it worth the humiliation
