Java: Dynamic Menus

Posted by majidmakky [send private reply] at December 04, 2002, 05:18:30 PM

Hi Guys,
Is it possible to make dynamic menus?
I mean menus & submenus which their view depend on some files on the Hard Disk.
"The application will read some files from the H.D.D &
then build the menus at run time?"
Thanks

Menus are always built at runtime.... If you're using an IDE to create the menus, try seeing what code it's generating.

majidmakky, yes. The tutorial at http://www.winprog.org/ (assuming you're on windows) should tell you what you need.

Hmph. Oh look, I'm an idiot. I would have sworn that the subject started life as just "Dynamic menus"
