BC++ TCanvas

Posted by Cortez [send private reply] at May 17, 2003, 06:39:24 AM

I've been writing a map editor for a game project (Shining Force Final Conflict PC Remake) with Borland C++ Builder (i think v1.0) How can achivethe transparency of TImage->TCanvas, thru pasting bitmaps? I tried all the methods (including XOR)one by one but none did work properly.

Help file doesn't say it exactly, but says transparency and some other effects can be achived through mixing them. Any solutions? :(

I know a technique for what you are asking for but I'm afraid I won't be explaining it well. So here is few links for you. They mostly apply to Win32's BitBlt but it should be portable to BC++B as well.
