DirectX tutorials

Where can I find tutorials for DirectDraw, DirectPlay and DirectInput (other than gamedev.net)?

Does MSDN not have anything?

MSDN is pretty slim picking when you look for Starting-From-0-Tutorials on any subject. Some sections are okay, some aren't. For DirectX, I'd suggest you buy/steal/copy any book on the subject. Even an older book on DirectX 7 (I've got 'Intro to: DirectX') could give you a good headstart.

For DirectDraw & DirectInput I'd suggest the book "Tricks of the Windows Game Programming Gurus". Dunno about DirectPlay.

I bought a book called "Programming Role-Playing Games With DirectX" which is quite good.. Of course, I bought it mainly for the RPG aspects of it, but at the same time, I found it interesting to learn DirectX programming (OpenGL is still better IMO, but that's a question of personal preference).

Too bad I have too much work to spend the time needed. :o)

"CodeRed, didn't he say (other than gamedev.net)"

But it's not Gamedev, it is a seperate site hosted by gamedev
