BORLAND C++

Posted by BEDGE [send private reply] at August 24, 2001, 04:20:40 PM

DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT TYPE OF PROJECT I HAVE TO SETUP ON BORLAND C++ V4 TO LINK CLASSESS TO UNITS. I HAVE BEEN GETTING THE UNRESOLVED LINKER ERROR MESSAGE

Posted by gian [send private reply] at August 24, 2001, 07:09:03 PM

THAT PROBABLY COMES FROM TYPING THE CLASS NAME IN CAPITALS!

Try releasing the caps lock. If that little light on your keyboard is on, many strange things happen. People suddenly stop giving good answers, Compiler complain about syntax errors.

oh, and isn't it odd, when that little light is on the keyboard... people take less notice of you??? especially in a chat room. ;)

makes me wonder what the influence is of those other 2 lights (num-lock and scroll lock).
Num-lock seems to have a certain influence on a persons math capabilities. When the light is on it seems easier to type numbers.
But scroll Lock is still a very mysterieus thing. Theories exist that it might have something to do with ancient scrolls. Perhaps scrolls about the meaning of Windows blue screen messages. Or other strange mysteries concealed in the darkest darkness of cyberspace.
The truth is out there.

Seems to me like he's gotten too much attention already. After the first jest, I believe we could have let the issue go, no?

but it's so much for fun to push the issue, where's your sense of adventure eternaldisciple?

I must have lost it between repetitiveness and boredom. Which is worse: MAKING THE SAME JOKE OVER AND OVER IN CAPITALS or MAKING THE SAME JOKE OVER AND OVER IN CAPITALS or MAKING THE SAME JOKE OVER AND OVER IN CAPITALS...

We always do this... BEDGE (I'm sure he has had caps lock on since he got his computer, and hasn't taken it off since) posts all in capitals, then we give an answer, and hassle him for using capitals, and he never reads it.

People who quote have nothing to say for themselves.

And who is Henri de Lubac? And why would people read him?

I know about how case sensitive c/c++ are (see my profile). I have writen programs in C/C++ before with the structured paradigm. I wouldn't be able to do this if i had the caps lock key on all the time like Mr Gian said.
i dont think I have properly explained my problem. i am learning the object oriented paridigm of C++ and have started writing classes but i can't link them to the main program file that i am using. What type of app/s with BORLAND C++ 4 do i have to create to do this.

Thanks for the help to all who have replied to my message including gian.

We also discourage CHollman from writing. :)

Most welcome, BEDGE... it's just highly peculiar to find someone who writes everything in capitals...
