C++ compiler

Where can i get a WIN32 C++ compiler??? i find command line compilers (borland) extremely confusing and hard to use.... what one should i get?

I think what you want is an IDE. Borland does have an IDE but its not free I like Microsoft Visual C++ personally. I think there might be a few free IDE's for the Free Borland command line tools VIDE I believe is one of them.

Rhide with DJGPP (http://www.delorie.com/djgpp/) or bloodshed dev-c++ with mingw32 (http://www.bloodshed.net) might suit.

I would never pay for Borland's IDE. At least C++ Builder's. Even up to v5, it's semi-trash. Not that I'd use it without paying, I'd just go for something else. Luckily, work pays for it!

actually, things are looking up for me --- i was just hired by a new startup isp in my area to write all of their registration/user database/account payment and management software --- should be fun, please i get heaps of free stuff+cash .... so i'm happy :-)

Im doing contract work for my previous college as a network firewall and routing specialist, and a security specialist at about $80/hour.
Im also starting work at my old old school for two weeks before i start uni, as a computer technician, only $400/week..
