Programming

My goal is to be a game programmer, and some of the requirements are to learn the C++ language, well I took a lot of tutorials and read tons of books on that shit, so now I know everything about it. So where do I go from here?

Ha! Don't be so vein. gamedev.net is probably a good start.

Or artery, or capilliary or any other body function!

haha. What languages are the majority of games written in?

Taubz: It's spelled "vain"
Gain: Veins, arteries, and capillaries are not functions
McGrady2122: Write programs, anything you can think of, as much as you can think of

Codered: Humor... sense of... have one? (and my name is "Gian" not "Gain")
McGrady2122: You've managed to annoy 2 TPU admins in just a small space of time. Don't.

McGrady2122: If you do indeed know everything about the c++ language *cough*, learning how to use the various graphics api's such as directX, openGL, and SDL would be a good next step. Once you "know everything" *cough* about these, start making a game. When you discover that you don't actually know everything about c++, write "hello world", and work your way up from there.

Read a lot of books + read a lot of tutorials = knowing about 10% of what you'll need to know.
the remaining 90% you'll only learn coding. Experience is the key to succes.
