screen capture

Hi there I was wondering if there is a way to do a simple screen capture in windows and then transform the capture to text ? ? ?

what....... Try www.tucows.com , MWCapture is good , but transform to text ???? Need more info.

hmm....anything wrong with alt-prntscrn? this will capture your screen in windows to the clipboard then you can just paste it into paint or photoshop or whatever you like.

as for "transform to text", do you mean being able to recognise the original text from the picture? if so, you may want to look up OCR (optical character recognition).

Or investigate aalib. You should be able to to write a program using aalib to convert your picture to text.
