"Hackers" movie startup screens
Posted by miststlkr [send private reply] at March 22, 2002, 12:14:04 PM Hey all, I was thinking about trying to make a starup screen like the characters had in the movie Hackers. It looks like they basically use an animated GIF as their startup screen, but I don't think that's possible. What I was thinking was just write a program that displays an animated GIF (or a series of pictures to simulate one) and throw that in the autoexec.bat file... would that work? is there a better way?
Thanks for any help.

Posted by miststlkr [send private reply] at March 22, 2002, 01:54:10 PM Hey. I found a site that walks you through it if anyone else is interrested. I haven't tried it yet so don't get mad at me if it doesn't work...
