I'm starting a website on a UNIX server. They don't specify which scripting languages are supported. Which languages are commonly supported by UNIX servers?

Hopefully you're talking about server-side scripting, which I don't really think are generally called scripting languages. That's usually for client-side scripts (JavaScript, VBScript).

Unix servers will almost always have Perl, most now have PHP, and nearly all will let you do Bash (!) scripts.
