using serial port intterupt in protected mode.

Does anyone have a working example about how to use the serial port interrupt in protected mode with those DPMI functions? I've spend whole day trying to get it to work, but even the examples from DJGPP didn't work.
It's supposed to generate an interrupt when the UART has received some bytes, but it doesn't do a thing. I can get the bytes by polling the UART, but I would rather use a interrupt version to prevent the lose of data. RedX
