Tetris, you can never have too many tetris clones. I wrote tetris and it was one of the most rewarding things I have ever programmed (OpenGL is so cookie cutter ya know? Not rewarding at all)

If u wanna learn a new language, try C#. The industry gurus are claiming that it is the next "JAVA" for the IT industry.
Well, even if it doent live up to it, u have nothing to loose. ATB, Vikram.

Boycot C#. Stupid MS has to assimilate everything, you know C# is just Microsofts C++ implementation right?

DO NOT LEARN C#. It is a proprietary language that is defined by Microsoft, and therefore your code will not be portable to anything that can't run the .NET VM. Yes, GNU/Linux has Mono, but we all know what Microsoft likes to do (anyone remember Kerberos? The Office file formats? The file sharing protocol? etc). For a nice project learn C and Scheme, then write a GCC frontend for Guile Scheme :).

Check out java, it is a great language and not to much different from the C family of languages.

Why would someone want to learn C# over C++ anyway? I guess it makes windows programming easier.. but why not use VB?

I deleted an inappropriate remark by Linux_Penguin here, along with follow-ups by gian and buzgub. Please watch what you say.

Flash 0.5? Darn that's an old system.. Are you sure you don't mean Flash 5, or perhaps Flash MX?
