There are scores of HTML resources out there, so I don't know what you mean. Also, HTML isn't programming, so this is slightly off-topic, but whatever. =)

ComoVaca,

Though I should appreciate ur effort, I must comment that it is ((tooooooooooooooooooooooooo ^ infinity)) vague and general. It lacks the important component of a (??)tutorial- it lacks examples. U should have atleast added a full fledged example.

Secondly, I am of the opinion that there are heck a lot of tutorials for HTML - well definitely more than that for hacking. A DAFGS gave out a lot of results.(1,680,000), to be exact. So ur comment is absolutely baseless.

What is phreaking???

Sorry if I have been harsh. Nothing personal.

Vikram.

Phreaking is the cracking of phone lines. It involves criminally using phones (ie modifying a payphone to give you free calls etc). I believe this is correct.

Phreaking also includes posing as someone you are not in order to gain sensitive information (over the phone of course) Anyone here ever read the Anarchist Cookbook, good stuff.

The anarchist cookbook is shit...What you are talking about CodeRed is Social Engineering. Phreaking would be "hacking" the phone system (seeing how phreaking predates cracking...). Phreaking is nearly impossible in the US today now because the phone systems have been "upgraded." You can probably still use the various boxes in small towns if you looked really hard.

Oh yeah, social engineering LOL. It was good for its time

There is nothing stopping you from socially engineering people. So CodeRed, this is John from AOL and we need your credit card number, security code, and expiration date to confirm that someone isn't stealing access...

I meant the anarchists cookbook was good for its time

>Phreaking is nearly impossible in the US today
I would guess you can still break into somebody else's house line rather than using your own for illegal purposes.... i think that falls under the phreaking category too

The anarchists cookbook always handy if you want to kill someone. Just give him the text about explosives and the listed products and watch him blow himself up from a safe distance (let say a quarter of a mile). ;-)
