Linux and DirectX???

The only thing keeping me in Windows is DirectX, i would like to change to linux but that meens that i wont be able to run 3D StudioMAX... what can i do???

Wine or WineX should be able to run 3D Studio Max for you. Either that or you could look around on freshmeat.net for a Free 3d program that can load 3d studio max files.
