Qbasic

does ne one know how to save Qbasic progs.... Every time i try to do it... it doesnt save... also... where can i get the Qbasic 4.5 compiler... thanx

File - save as - (give it a name) - press OK.
I don't know if M$ still sells Quickbasic. It's a Dos-language and they do everything they can to get everybody to use their latest crap - I mean OS - and forget Dos ASAP.
If they don't, I think you'll have to look in the old-junk-that-wasn't-sold-before-something-newer-was-released box in your local software shop. Or look at one of these abandonware sites. Borland has one for their own old software. M$ probably not. But there are plenty of people who started their own (ilegal) abandonware site. (just watch out for M$'s men in black: They'll erase your bank account)

I'm not sure, but I believe the copyright on QuickBasic 4.5 has actually expired. So do a search for it on google or somewhere, and don't feel bad about downloading it .. I assure you you won't be cheating Microsoft out of anything ;-)
