And that would indeed reflect badly upon all concerned.
I think that simply saving them to your disk ) is enough(this is actually also border line copyright infringement too, but don't expect the FBI knocking at your door too soon.

Don't take this the wrong way, diegoeskryptic, but please stop asking other people to do time consuming things. No one's getting paid to do this. If you want tutorials collected into one file and you think others would benefit from it, make the collection yourself and then upload it somewhere.

That being said, your idea edges on copyright infringement.

Well, I know that it may be more annoying to do so, but you can save the files locally (right-click and "Save target as..." for IE and Shift+click for Netscape) and link them together. A faster way for IE would be to add the tutorial to your favorites and make it available offline (where you specify the link depth and what not). However, I agree that it would be more convienient to have neat little zip and pdf files to download rather than links to outside pages. This should keep you satisfied until/if that happens though.

after reading the tutorials... i noticed that there were alot to read.. however... this means alot of time spent online... and for most people... we arent allowed to spend alot of hours online due to the fact that it clogs up the telephone lines.. therefore.. i was just wondering if you could just take all the information that is needed to learn java ( one website at a time) and put it into one large file that may be simply downloaded... this way we could study offline... if this possible and not time consuming, I ask can you please do this... ( i would also like the same done for the other learning groups).... thanx .. can u also see my thread on "Other new ideas for TPU" and give a response ....
