Quick start guides?

I'm at a loose end, so if anyone has a good idea for a Quick Start guide, it'll probably get written.

"Intro to UNIX Shell and GCC" (preparatory for hopefully soon-to-be-made free shell accounts)

"Sorting, Searching, and Where To Find Efficient Solutions to Difficult Problems" (with links)

"What Do I Program Next?" Some ideas for simple programs that help people learn stuff, for various languages. (The idea comes from someone's post a few days ago. I forget who.)

Yeah, maybe that's something only the individual can come up with....
