Posted by jay_dee [send private reply] at July 02, 2002, 10:52:01 PM I just got a new computer and every time I go into XWindows and try to run a program it is bigger then my screen. Is there any way to fix this? I know in windows you can adjust the screen area by going to the Control Pannel and then Display, is there something like this in Xwindows? thanks,

Posted by gian [send private reply] at July 02, 2002, 11:32:58 PM If you are using Redhat then 'Xconfigurator' should do the trick. Otherwise you might want to edit your X config file.
Posted by mrnorman [send private reply] at July 03, 2002, 12:30:16 PM I always hear people talking about Xconfigurator for redhat linux, and I have RedHat 7.2, but it didn't come with my distribution (I've checked all the stuff in my PATH directories). Where can I download it?
Posted by FatalDragon [send private reply] at July 11, 2002, 12:04:00 PM It sounds like you have virtual desktop on. I believe it can be changed with xf86config or as was said xconfigurator.
