The two greatest games of all time :)

1. Commander Keen
2. Transport Tycoon(If your versionspecific, my favourite is the punk rock version)

and if ne one does, did u like them, and does n e one know if I can get hold of the sources of them(I know they were both written in (part C part assembly).

Three cheers for nostalga ;)

Commander Keen kicks ass.

Yeah! It ruled! There were made by id Software. I'm not sure the source code was ever release.

never heard of them.... what is the object of the games?

The original Duke Nukems are more fun, Duke 1 especially

I have the first 3 Duke Nuk'ems and every Commander Keen, including the GBC (GameBoy Color) one.

Transport Tycoon? The oldest "Tycoon" game that I remember is Dinosaur Tycoon and then Railroad Tycoon...

Nah, I'd heard of transport tycoon before, but I hadn't realized it was asm/C old... eeewww

actually, there's a lot to be said for simplicity: take a look at publisher's or word's HTML parsing. Funny that a company that can write some good HTML programs (frontpage) can fail so miserably otherwhere... but I'm OT

Yeah Duke is better because it is more gory(if your into that kind of stuff) but Commander Keen was the first game I fell in love with. hehe I love the red balls with faces on them. Great fun..

Sometimes I download some of those old games from abandonwarez sites. Some are still damn good (Like Day of the Tentacle, Sam & Max, The incredible machine).

I still have several collection CDs with simular older games. One day I'll actually get to playing them.
