Mine is less than impressive - TPU and Artscore Studios.

Mine is impressive... If I search for my nick, I get links to the Neumann high quality microphones company and links to John von Neumann bios, who was a great computer scientist at the time of ENIAC.

When I search for my name [ItinitI] I come up with many Japanese pages. I did find such tactics useful when searching for information on Vladimir however.

Did an ego search om my nick and found a few things I wrote among several dozen pages of crap. (I should get started with hunting down and silencing all those people who dare to use the same nick as mine. I just can decide to do this before or after I take over the world) I did found (one of) my own site(s).

Wow.....finally my site is on google and ofocurse 1st by my name (in quotes)...........I thought search engines use meta tags/ incoming links etc........ so does google take ALL the strings on a page.......can't get it but any way....it doesn't matter anymore.

I can't post on the submission thread......I don't want to post any thing just curious.

Posted by Psion [send private reply] at September 28, 2002, 08:22:40 AM

You can't post because that thread has gotten too old and was automatically locked. Google uses some extremely sophisticated algorithms that consider all of the words on pages.

Ya! Google finaly added my site to their list too! I searched "Shining Blue Sun" and it was top of the list.
