War Games?

Posted by ItinitI [send private reply] at January 01, 2003, 11:17:27 PM

Does any one here play/played war games? Because I'm starting somewhat of a war games team.

<In case you didn't know, war games are network/computer security games [also called 'hacking'], but perfectly legal>

<Eh, I guess I better go ahead and pull up the shield of asbestos>

rootwars.org host some that seem okay. I've never partisipated in them though.

Although, hackerslab.org has some practical problem based objectives that are a great excersize in security. Although some parts of it may seem a little stupid..

What a particularly stupid concept.

Yeah, rootwars.org is where we'll be playing through.

And, well, hackerslab is a very interesting concept, but it's not really quite the same as war games IMHO, but still very good.
