www.webmonkey.com is nice site for learning web design. portland.co.uk is good host as well as www.tripod.co.uk [much better than tripod.com] both free

I feel obligated to point out that Xeron has partly ignored the request on the "message to new users" page to keep web design out of TPU, if possible.
At least he put it in General and not Programming, so maybe he realizes it's off topic. =)
