What language are you trying to use? Have you got an IDE?

I'm 'trying to use' Masm or Tasm. What do 'IDE' mean?

An IDE is an Integrated Development Environment. An IDE will usually have options to allow you to write your code, compile your code, and debug your code, all from an easy to use interface... hopefully. I can't help with debugging assembly code; Someone else here should be able to.
