DVD drive not appearing

I have a DVD drive and a CD-RW both attached to my computer with the DVD assigned to D: and the CD-RW on E:. If you watch the startup, it clearly identifies both drives. When I get into window$ however, D: is nowhere to be found. If D: has a cd in it at startup however, it shows up just fine. This is more of a setback and not a major problem, but it's definitely something that would be much better off fixed. Any ideas on what it might be?

Do you have Tweakui? Somebody might have hidden that drive letter as a prank

Extremely doubtful. And it started before I was even online, it's a relatively new computer. I have specs if it would help, but I thought it might just be a general problem though. But ya, it's highly unlikely that there's anything on here I don't know about. I'm pretty paranoid that way.
