serious foolproof problem

i have a computer that has foolproof on it and i can not run any of the programs in the windows folder. i can only put files on the computer. does anyone know or have any ideas on how to disable it?

I would recommend (optionally) backing your stuff up on a cd or another HDD. Then format and reinstall windows.

how can i format the c drive if i cant get to the command prompt or select it under properites?

I heard you can create a shortcut to C: and that will sometimes bypass some security stuff. Never tried it because...I never needed to. But you might. *shrug*

Ummm... guys, we already helped someone do this just before.
Use a single floppy disk linux distro to boot into linux, and mount your C: drive, and delete C:\SSS (I think that's where foolproof hangs out), and that will prevent it from starting when Windows does http://www.tpu.org/tea/Thread2./cg-9/id-396

Gaz senses this is some kid trying to bypass his schools protection scheme :)
So he probably cant use a boot disk, however if its an AWARD bios, a password of AWARD_SW will work on most except the most recent versions. Geez, I cant believe im helping ;) Gaz
