Should I learn C++ and then games or learn to program games and C++ at the same time?

You can't write games if you don't know a language. I think the correct choice is rather obviouse.

CodeRed.... since it's so obvious, it's obviously not what he was asking.

JG, you can learn games and C++ at the same time as long as you start off with *very* simple games, like "guess the number." As you learn the skills, make a game out of it. When you get to a certain level, you can have a program in mind and then learn the skills as you need them.
