Linux, games, really slow frame rate, and you

I have the latest free mandrake, a really fast computer, and hair loss because none of the games are working. It almost looks like its not using the graphics card at all (cpu load goes max)
Its a RIVA TNT 2 I think... Anyways, anyone else have this problem? How did you fix it?

I had the same problem, with my Geforce 2. Fixing it was easy, all I needed to do was go the the Nvidia site and download some linux drivers, which came with good installation instructions, and now everything is happy and rosy.

Go to mandrakeuser.org, they have loads of information on the subject, I had to get my GeForce2 working and they helped me out a lot.
