eXtremeMessageBoard (XMB) question...

Posted by FatalDragon [send private reply] at June 27, 2002, 09:09:00 PM

Would it work to use an XMB on a free server like Geocities or Tripod? Im not real sure how much room XMB requires, but Geocities gives you like 5MBs (I think...) and Tripod gives you 25MB, so would either of those be enough space to run an XMB? ThanX!

Almost any message board would certainly use some sort of server side language such as php or perl, and I don't believe that any free host allows you to run server side scripts.

There are a few, but they all have shocking uptime in my experience.

try Brinkster.com . I presume they permit it.
