I am afraid I am going to have to cancel our meeting this Sunday. A lot of people (including me) cannot make it at our current designated time. Maybe we'll re-schedule for a different time during the week?

We had our first meeting yesterday at 4:00 pm EST. Even though only 5 people showed up I would consider the meeting a success. We talked extensively about the design doc, the UI, networking, the engine, gameplay, and our current goals. Next meeting is this coming Sunday at 4:00 pm EST. I will notify you if it is on IRC or in our shared space on Groove!

So far it seems that a fair amount of people are interested in this project. We have about 5-7 new people. I am currently planning our first meeting for sometime this Sunday, time hasn't been finalized yet. It looks like we may be using the Groove Preview Edition for managing this project. For those who do not know what that is go and check it out at www.groove.net. Msg board activity has gone up a tad, by that I mean I am no longer the only one who has posted a msg on it =D. Looks like that's it for today!

I am setting everything up so that this project will be as organized as possible. There are plenty of positions to be filled for those interested. I have posted all contact information and some info about the project in the About topic on the message board.
