Sidebar

Everyone thank our newest code-tinkerer buzgub for some improvements to the Mozilla sidebar, including links to new message threads that go away when you click on them! :-)

If you use Mozilla and haven't added it yet, see the link at the bottom of the front page.

Thanks buzgub!

It's so unfortunate when things annoy me; I always feel obliged to go and do something about it. :) Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the modifications and find them useful. Thanks to Psion for adding those neccesary bits, too!

Well done, Buzgub.

Hey, Buzgub is an admin! When did that happen?

When he had a good idea and the motivation to implement it :-)

Excellent...

I have no idea if this is cause I am not using a MileStone build or if other people are having this problem, but...

I seem to be getting a double image on the forums that display. It does not happen all the time, only when there are new posts, and when I click the lower link of the two, the first version of that link activates, and then both disappear...

If nobody else is having this problem, I will download only milestone builds from now on.

BTW, that last post was in reference to the sidebar... incase it being in one of the sidebar threads is not clue enough.

That happened to me *once*. If anyone notices it happening again, please right-click the sidebar and hit "save frame as", then make it available to us so that we can try to work out what's causing it.

It must be a problem with Mozilla... I saved the source while it was doing that, http://danewmoon.curvedspaces.com/tpu/Sidebar.txt and when displayed in the main window it looks just fine... this is extremely puzzling...

yeah.. there were a few <br> tags without corresponding closing tags. That's fixed now; they're <br /> instead. That may fix the problem; it may not.

/me smacks Mozilla

Nope... its still doing it... oh well, I'll do the only thing that I can do... I'll ignore it... it is really just a minor problem.
