No no, this is another chance to train our mind reading skills! Concentrate... Yes, now I see... He wants to hear our oppinion about his intellect, forum skills and several other non-related posts.

Why is it without me constantly going on about newbies, this place suddenly fills with em, theres been about 5 in the 4 days whilst Ive been away!

IF YOU'RE A NEWBIE WE ONLY WANT YOU IF YOU'LL AT LEAST POST A THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP YOU HAVE RECIEVED, right @ guys, I'm not cracking up here?

Posted by RedX [send private reply] at September 16, 2002, 02:50:33 PM

U forgot to mention they should aks a clear and understandable question. (One that at minimum contains one sentence with a meaning and preferably a question mark)

Posted by CViper [send private reply] at September 16, 2002, 03:47:49 PM

well.. this guy already provided the keywords for a google-search. Maybe someone really should implement an auto-google on every message posted (and this one would probably have gotten what he looked for too)

Good idea

Posted by mop [send private reply] at September 16, 2002, 05:47:53 PM

what if its an exremely long non question post?
RDD: I think its because your complaining about "newbies" drowns out their asking for help. Just an illusion...

Trix: The way to do java multithreading is to have multiple threads in java.

Have a thing in the corner. Called Phil the auto-answering robot. With a text field with PUT YOUR QUESTION IN HERE TO ASK PHIL! Then just forward them to google initating the search.

Posted by DragonWolf [send private reply] at September 17, 2002, 04:32:49 AM

Then lock the website and never let them return.. MUHAHAHAHAHAAH!

Posted by RedX [send private reply] at September 17, 2002, 09:37:02 AM

Or simply forward them all to info@cia.gov and add a small confesion about their connection with Bin Laden, Hoessein, or whoever happens to be the enemy of the US at that moment.

Posted by mop [send private reply] at September 17, 2002, 05:59:27 PM

No, do that whenever they ask about 'hacking'.

Posted by RedX [send private reply] at September 18, 2002, 01:01:48 PM

No, those should be directed to hiring@medical_experiments.com

Posted by regretfuldaydreamer [send private reply] at September 18, 2002, 03:03:33 PM

info@ciaa.gov would be funnier

Posted by DragonWolf [send private reply] at September 18, 2002, 06:44:03 PM

hmmm.
depends what kind of medical_experiments

Posted by regretfuldaydreamer [send private reply] at September 19, 2002, 08:32:36 AM

Omg! I am like so needing to get into my friend's system! What tools should I use, my friend said he did it and found out he was cheating on me...

Wow, I actually managed to post that message in school.

TPU was filtered, then they unfiltered in and now they've refiltered it. I think.

Me claps for his school, which does not engage in censorship!

Posted by unknown_lamer [send private reply] at September 20, 2002, 08:09:50 AM

My school doesn't have filters. Woo. And if they did I could just tunnel through another machine...

Posted by DragonWolf [send private reply] at September 20, 2002, 08:58:37 AM

mine had filters but didn't bother me, except the one that blocked IRC.

My uni has no filters but they log everything you do.

Posted by DragonWolf [send private reply] at September 20, 2002, 08:59:11 AM

I could format the harddisk at uni if I wanted to. I don't think they would care too much ^^

Posted by CViper [send private reply] at September 21, 2002, 07:14:34 AM

At my school they'd probably come and thank you for formating a HD...

Posted by regretfuldaydreamer [send private reply] at September 22, 2002, 07:46:43 AM

They've refiltered this ite now. Bloody Filters. I think the filter musn't have been working when I made that post
